About Us
Who is ZK Skin Essentials
ZK Skin Essentials was created by me, Zavinta Kalvinskaite. I worked as a model for over 20 years all over the world. My skin was constantly exposed to different kinds of toxins from traveling, make up applications, not a very healthy diet while always on the run and not a very healthy life style. I was always eager to learn about healthy, natural ways to heal my body and lessen exposure to toxins as much as possible.
While in my early 30s I started my research on cosmetic ingredients and what possible harm it causes to the skin. I worked on creating my own harm free, natural skincare products. Then, at 39 years old, I was blessed with a little girl, and decided to change my career."Atelier Esthetique" Institute of Esthetics was my choice. I didn't attend this school because I wanted to become an esthetician. I wanted to learn everything possible about the skin, so that I could formulate a better skincare product. However, while in school, I truly fell in love with helping people to deal with skin issues while boosting their confidence. I was hooked :) In 2010 I became certified esthetician by NYS and ITEK (UK) for all kinds of manual and electrical facial and body skin care treatments.
While I was working as an esthetician I also never gave up on studying about skin care ingredients and formulations. By 2017 I received a certification by Formula Botanica from UK as organic, anti-aging skin care and mask formulator.
My certifications are followed by TAMA Research for implementing Microcurrent Therapy to facial & body treatments, ThermoClear Therapy- removal of skin imperfections, Dr. Vodder's cosmetic manual lymphatic drainage, Circadia for physiological approach to peels and pigmentation disorders causes and treatments, Osmosis Wellness Master Class, Hormonal detox and toxicity. My studies won't stop, now more than ever I am inclined into studying wellness aspect of the body, because beauty starts from within. I will follow my passion for wellness & skincare with continued education and I will share it all with you. I will try my best to help you to find the right holistic approach to bring the balance to your health and skin. I have put my skincare formulations on hold for now, but not giving up on it. :)
