Who is ZK Skin Essentials
Welcome to ZK Skin Essentials
ZK Skin Essentials was created by me, Zavinta Kalvinskaite. After more than 20 years working as a model around the world, I became deeply aware of how constant travel, makeup application, an unhealthy diet, and a fast-paced lifestyle can affect the skin and overall well-being. Those experiences inspired me to learn as much as I could about healthy, natural ways to care for my body and reduce exposure to toxins whenever possible.
In my early 30s, I began researching cosmetic ingredients and the potential harm they can cause to the skin. That research led me to create my own natural, toxin-free skincare products. Then, at 39 years old, I was blessed with a little girl, and I knew it was time for a new chapter in my life and career.
My Path Into Esthetics
I chose Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics not because I wanted to become an esthetician, but because I wanted to learn everything possible about the skin so I could formulate better skincare products. While I was in school, I discovered how much I truly loved helping people address skin concerns while also boosting their confidence. I was hooked.
In 2010, I became a certified esthetician through NYS and ITEK (UK), trained in a wide range of manual and electrical facial and body skin care treatments.
Continuing Education and Advanced Training
Even while working as an esthetician, I never gave up studying skincare ingredients and formulations. In 2017, I received certification from Formula Botanica in the UK as an organic, anti-aging skincare and mask formulator.
My additional certifications include training with:
- TAMA Research for implementing Microcurrent Therapy for facial and body treatments
- ThermoClear Therapy for the removal of skin imperfections
- Dr. Vodder’s cosmetic manual lymphatic drainage
- Circadia peels and pigmentation

My Philosophy
My studies continue, and now more than ever I am drawn to the wellness aspect of the body, because beauty starts from within. I am committed to lifelong education in wellness and skincare, and I will continue to share what I learn with you.
My goal is to help you find the right holistic approach to bring balance to your health and skin.
I have put my skincare formulations on hold for now, but I have not given up on them. :)
